You couldn't WRITE a horror story this bad....


A dear brother sent this to me and I had to share it. How much damage can 1 man do to an entire nation in just a short amount of time?

First 4 Months Accomplishments

Observations on the President's Early Days:
1. Offended the Queen of England .
2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .
3. Praised the Marxist Daniel Ortega.
4. Kissed Hugo Chavez on the cheek.
5. Endorsed the Socialist Evo Morales of Bolivia .
6. Announced we would meet with Iranians with no pre-conditions.
7. Gave away billions to AIG also without pre-conditions.
8. Expanded the bailouts.
9. Insulted everyone who has ever loved a Special Olympian.
10. Doubled our national debt.
11. Announced a termination of the space defense system the day after
the North Koreans launched an ICBM.
12. Despite the urgings of his own CIA director and the prior 4 CIA
directors, released information on intelligence gathering.
13. Accepted without public comment the fact that five of his cabinet
members cheated on their taxes and two others withdrew after they
couldn't take the heat.
14. Appointed a Homeland Security Chief who quickly identified as
"dangers to the nation," groups including veterans of the military, and
opponents to abortion on demand, and who ordered that the word
"terrorism" no longer be used but instead referred to such acts as "man
made disasters".
15. Circled the globe so he could openly apologize for America 's
greatness.
16. Told the Mexican President that the violence in their country was because of us.
17. Politicized the census by moving it into the White House from its
Department of Commerce origins.
18. Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced
removal and expulsion from America to Cuba of a nine-year old whose
mother died trying to bring him to a life of freedom in the United States .
19. Salutes, as heroes, three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists
who threatened one American life, and the next day announces members
of the Bush administration will likely stand trial for "torturing" a terrorist who
had played a part in killing 3000 Americans by pouring water up their nose.
20. Air Force One over New York City . (???)
21. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure Europe that
the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and they might be
on their own with the Muslims.
22. Began the process of nationalizing the Auto Industry and the
Insurance industry.
23. Announced that for all intents and purposes the Health Insurance
Industry will be nationalized.
I'll add a couple more:
24. Sold us out to Russia by signing away and weakening our defensive capabilities.
25. Nominated a liberal and bigoted judge for the Supreme Court.
26. Openly supported a wanna-be Honduran dictator when he tried to over stay his term.
God help us all!

No truer words were never spoken. This is a quote from one of our forefathers, Alexander Hamilton.

Whether in the realm of our faith, our lifestyle, our politics or whatever, we either have to take a stand or we will, as Ephesians 4:14 says, "...be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" I have spoken about this in past blogs in relationship to politics, so now let me tackle the issue from the standpoint of Faith.

Sadly, I am seeing too many people, even Christians, who are no longer willing to take a stand on much of anything. It is definitely the harder road. It's the one that Jesus took and it cost Him his life. Having a spine might cost us ours, who knows. It is easier to see things in shades of grey because you can make everybody happy, and after all isn't that what life is all about? Shouldn't we want EVERYONE to be our friend? Don't we want EVERYONE to like us? I'm so thankful that Jesus didn't see it that way. If He would have, his death would not have been necessary.

Jesus saw things in black and white. Sin=black, righteousness=white. While, because of his love and grace and death on the cross, we no longer have to pay for those sins, sin is still sin and it must be paid for by someone. Those that have yet to allow Christ to live in them will still have to pay for their own sin for all eternity. Those that have accepted His grace and forgiveness will live with Him in Glory for all eternity...Period...it really is no more complicated than that. Sadly, we as Christians have many times, decided to take the easy road. I have heard excuses like, "We don't want to offend anyone", and "We don't want to scare them to Christ", "Building relationships is more important". While I agree that building relationships is VERY importaint, it should be one that is based on honesty.

Say what you will, and make all of the excuses you want to, but the bottom line is this: We need to love people enough to be honest with them. We need to care about them deeply enough that we should be willing to risk a relationship to tell them the whole truth. That's what Jesus did! We need to tell them about a God who loved them enough to send His Son to take our sins upon Himself and pay for them with His life. We need to tell them that their life here on earth will be fuller and richer for having Him dwell in their heart, and how much more difficult it will be to handle the trials that come our way without Him. But we also need to tell them about eternity. Either a life in Heaven with Him, or eternal Darkness without Him, and with Satan and his minions. Anything less is deceitful.

I was asked a while back, "Don't you think they already know [about Heaven and Hell]?" I don't know if they do or don't, but quite frankly, I'm not about to gamble their soul on it. I'm glad that most parents don't raise their children that way. Should we just assume that they know right from wrong and what the outcome of their bad decisions are going to be? If that's the case, why bother to raise them?

It is difficult enough when we have to be criticised by the world, but all too often we Conservatives also have to take some arrows from our own as well. The way I see it, it's OK if they are angry, then I know they have heard what was said and it must have struck a chord. What they do with it is between them and their God. I will continue to pray that God will speak to their hearts so that others will know and understand the fullness of a life and (and death) in Christ.
