Just look for the union idiots...

Anyone who reads this blog even once in a while knows my disdain for unions. Well...I'm about to show you yet another reason why I feel this way. This one is the SEIU (Service Employees International Union). These idiots got their panties in a knot because the Minneapolis franchise of Chipotle's gave their illegal alien workers 24 hours to cough up some documentation or hit the road. AS WELL THEY SHOULD HAVE. As you can imagine a bunch of them got canned. AS WELL THEY SHOULD HAVE. My ONLY criticism of Chipotle's is, HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET HIRED TO BEGIN WITH? Be that as it may, they are no longer there, and now there are some openings for U.S. citizens who could use a job.

"So what's the problem?" you say. "They were criminals who were breaking the law and got what they deserved!" Well there IS no problem...That's when these SEIU morons decided to create one and chain themselves to the inside of this restaurant and make complete fools of themselves by throwing a pre-school-like temper tantrum.

As much as I hate giving these buffoons any more publicity, you need to see this and if you are like me you will shake your head in wonderment at how these sheeple could possibly be this stupid.

As in any war, (and make no mistake about it this IS a war) the best way to defeat your enemy is to cut their supply lines and they will just simply loose their ability to fight. If we crack down on the employers who knowingly hire illegals and fine them BIG time, there will be no reason for these border scofflaws to be here. With unemployment hovering at 10%, there are not enough jobs to go around as it is. I have heard the tired old argument about illegals doing jobs that no one else wants to do, and that is simply just a lie. Especially when work is scarce, citizens will do just about ANY job to provide for their family especially when the unemployment insurance runs out, so don't give me that hearts and violins crap.

As I've said many times, I have no problem with immigrants who are here legally and play by the rules just like the rest of us. That's how my grandparents did it. If they want to come here, GREAT, just follow the law like everyone else. If not, get the hell out. TI

all to be overseen by a surgeon general
who is obese,

WOW! A constitutional judge!!

"I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our health care system. The health care market is more than one-sixth of the national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute
has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here,
"The individual mandate applies across the board. People have no choice and there is no way to avoid it. Those who fall under the individual mandate either comply with it, or they are penalized. It is not based on an activity that they make the choice to undertake. Rather, it is based solely on citizenship and on being alive,
"While the individual mandate was clearly 'necessary and essential' to the act as drafted, it is not 'necessary and essential' to health care reform in general. Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void."
"Regardless of how laudable its attempts may have been to accomplish these goals in passing the act, Congress must operate within the bounds established by the Constitution. Again, this case is not about whether the act is wise or unwise legislation. It is about the constitutional role of the federal government,"

U.S. Circuit court Judge Roger Vinson, in Pensacola, Fla., ruled Monday that because of the unconstitutionality of the "individual mandate" that forces people under penalty of law, to purchase insurance, the entire law must be declared void.

Most conservatives aren't even judges and we already knew that. This whole thing was a sham to begin with and congress knew it too when they passed it. What's next? Being forced to buy Chevy Volt cars from Government Motors? Forcing us all to pay union dues no matter where we work because the union syndicate is faltering? Or how about a mandatory donation line on our tax form to the DNC? What's the difference?

I'm proud to say that Indiana is one of the 26 states that are involved in this lawsuit against the federal government. While I hate the weather here (especially the blizzard we are in the middle of right now) I love this state and our conservative governor. We are one of the few states in the country who are in pretty good fiscal shape because of Mitch Danial's refusal to spend money we don't have.

Everyone knows this lawsuit will wind up in the Supreme Court, so it remains to be seen whether the liberal judges there will vote constitutionally like they are supposed to or ideologically like they usually do.

We need for this debacle to go down in flames so that it can be rebuilt correctly, fairly and most of all constitutionally. TI

My buddy Mark sent this and I had to post it. Let me say for the record that I love animals. I have had many dogs, rabbits, cats and other critters my whole life and I know how much they add to our lives. I currently have two cats and a rabbit that I dearly adore and as I read this many of the beloved pets that I have had over the years flashed though my memory.

If I knew who wrote this, I would gladly give them due credit for this loving piece.TI
