I could not agree more. After seeing video of what these Muslim animals are capable of , I don't understand how anyone can compare beheadings, blowing up children, cutting off limbs, gutting dead enemies and all their other atrocities to peeing on some dead guys. While I can't condone their behavior, it's not too difficult to understand it. ti

This one is a little different.... Two Different Versions ... Two Different Morals

OLD VERSION

Nancy Pelosi & HarryReid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for animmediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share. Finally, the EEOC drafts the EconomicEquity & Anti-Grasshopper Actretroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactivetaxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see thegrasshopper and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits ofthe ant's food while the government house he is in, which, as yourecall, just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, nowabandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous andpeaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

I just read an article from Media Matters that had me rolling on the floor laughing!
Headline: MSNBC Suspends Pat Buchanan.

What??? They are going to risk loosing the last 12 viewers the have left??? I admit that I do occasionally watch MSNBC, but only when I need a good laugh and someone to poke fun at.

Apparently he must have hurt their "widdle wiberal feewings" (which, as we know, replaces their brains) with his new book, Suicide of a Superpower: Will America survive 2025?

I haven't read the book yet, but according to the article he said mean things like we shouldn't have to press 1 for English, or give illegal immigrants special rights, or that America is turning into a moral cesspool. While I don't always agree with everything he says, he is right on the money when he talks about the decline of this nation and the reasons behind it.

I think it would be great if MSNBC did cut Buchanan loose. Great for him especially. I'll read the book and let you know how I liked it. ti

I just read an AP article that had me shaking my head in wonderment.

It seems that there has been a rash of gang-related murders over there lately and of course as you may imagine, everyone is very concerned. I would be too!

Here is en excerpt from the article that states their solution::

"In less than six weeks, five people have been shot dead in execution-style killings, prompting local police to ask for back-up from national investigators and for Malmo Mayor Ilmar Reepalu to call on the country's justice minister to [...wait for it...] implement tougher gun laws." Well...that's the governments solution, do you have a guess as to what the citizen's solution is?? I'll let you read it for yourself:

"In the light of the shootings, demonstrators will stage a protest against organized crime and illegal arms in Malmo on Friday. Some 4,800 people have so far signed up for participation."

A PROTEST??? What the hell are they protesting? The lack of personal protection from the cops? Do they want an armed bodyguard for every man, woman, and child? Maybe they are protesting the criminals who are running around shooting people? That should take care of it. Once the bad guys see how pissed off everyone is THAT should make them behave, right? That would make them realize the guns they have are illegal and should be turned in at once. Either that or all the criminals will feel bad and register their weapons immediately so they won't get in trouble.

This is a perfect example of a society who is totally dependent on their government to provide their every need. They have been a socialist democracy for decades and are not used to taking care of themselves.

What they should be protesting are the strict gun laws they have now that do not allow them to defend themselves. Instead, they have turned into a flock of sheep that will huddle in the corner of the pen and Baaahh loudly until the sheepdogs come to their rescue...many times too late...the wolves have already helped themselves and are gone.

This is the socialist model that our president wants for this country, and unfortunately, we are headed in that direction. It is up to every Patriot to see that doesn't happen. ti

The other day my sons and I made a trip to the range and had a GREAT time. We had been talking about it for a while and decided it was long overdue. My oldest called it "Good old fashioned red-state fun."

I am grateful that as my sons get older, they are seeing the need to be prepared for the inevitable struggle for the preservation of our constitution and freedom.

This could get real ugly, but if we can preserve this nation for our next generations it will be well worth it, I have no doubt that it may cost me my life, but the way I see it, it's a small price to pay to protect what our founding fathers fought and died for. ti

This law simply states that anyone whom the government decides is a threat under a very broad definition can be areested. Section 1031 of the National Defense Authorization Act otherwise known as the NDAA, provides broad authority for the federal government to use the military in domestic operations in order to detain Americans indefinitely and without trial.
We have been sold down the river by our treasonous elected officials, and all it needs now is the signature of our anti-American dictator in the White House.

Simply put, it means that anyone who even dares to criticize this foul regime can be arrested on suspicion of terrorism and be put away forever.

The Bronze Rat

A tourist from the Midwest walked into a Chinese curio shop in San Francisco .

While looking around at the exotic merchandise, he noticed a very lifelike, life-sized, bronze statue of a rat.

It had no price tag, but was so incredibly striking the tourist decided he must have it.

He took it to the old shop owner and asked, "How much for the bronze rat?" "Ahhh, you have chosen wisely!

It is $12 for the rat, and $100 for the story," said the wise old Chinaman. The tourist quickly pulled out twelve dollars.

"I'll just take the rat, you can keep the story", he said.

As he walked down the street carrying his bronze rat, the tourist noticed that a few real rats had crawled out of the alleys and sewers and had begun following him down the street. This was a bit disconcerting so he began walking faster.

A couple blocks later he looked behind him and saw to his horror the herd of rats behind him had grown to hundreds, and they began squealing.

Sweating now, the tourist began to trot toward the Bay. After a couple more blocks, he looked around only to discoverthat the rats now numbered in the THOUSANDS, and were squealing and coming toward him faster and faster.

Terrified, he ran to the edge of the Bay and threw the bronze rat as far as he could into the Bay.

Amazingly, the thousands of rats all jumped into the Bay after the bronze rat, and were all drowned.

The man walked back to the curio shop in Chinatown. "Ahhh," said the owner, "You have come back for story, yes? "Are you kidding?," said the man,

"I came back to see if you have a bronze Democrat!"

I am amazed at the sheer stupidity and blindness of the ones that support big government entitlements and control. As Europe is imploding under the weight of Socialism, there are those here that still wish to embrace it. George Santayana said: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", The astonishing thing with this is that you don't even have to have a good memory. It's happening...right now...this minute! Europe has "entitled" itself into bankruptcy and is taking the rest of the world with it. That, coupled with the moron we have living in our White House who has spent us into bankruptcy, is a recipe for disaster.

I'm still convinced that if people are going to be stupid enough to follow this path that leads to slavery it will be up to the Patriots who love freedom to stop it by whatever means necessary. ti

A friend of mine sent this to me and I found it VERY informative and interesting. I have a few friends who are black and they range from conservative to liberal. I am always amazed at the heat my conservative black friends take from their "brothers" who have taken the bait, swallowed the lie and love the handouts and freebeies that the Liberals have convinced them they need to get ahead. In reality, they have lost their self esteem, their will to succeed, and all sense of morality and resposibility. Back When We Were Negros

There was a time until the early 1960s when the terms to describe those of African decent, like me — African-American or Black or Afro-American — were almost unheard of. I remember a distinct conversation with a friend discussing descriptive terms for ourselves in 1963 or ’64. The term “black” was just coming into vogue and he didn’t like it one bit. “Call me a Negro,” he said, “but don’t call me black.”

Now, the word “Negro” (publications used a lower case “n”) has almost become a pejorative, so I was a little surprised when my pastor, the Rev. Willie Reid, used it during Thursday’s revival. “Back when we were Negroes,” he said, and listed several things that were different about black life in America back then.

That got me to thinking. Back when we were Negroes in the 1950s, “only 9 percent of black families with children were headed by a single parent,” according to “The Black Family: 40 Years of Lies” by Kay Hymowitz. “Black children had a 52 percent chance of living with both their biological parents until age 17. In 1959, “only 2 percent of black children were reared in households in which the mother never married.” But now that we’re African-Americans, according to Hymowitz, those odds of living with both parents had “dwindled to a mere 6 percent” by the mid-1980s. And check this, in Bibb County, more than 70 percent of the births in the African-American community are to single mothers.

Back when we were Negroes and still fighting in many parts of the country for the right to vote, we couldn’t wait for the polls to open. We knew our friends, family and acquaintances had died getting us the ballot. Dogs and fire hoses were used to keep us away and still we came. But now that we’re African-Americans, in a city of 47,000 registered — predominately black voters — more than 30,000 didn’t show up at the polls July 19.
Back when we were Negroes, we had names like Joshua, Aaron, Paul, Esther, Melba, Cynthia and Ida. Now that we are African Americans, our names are bastardized versions of alcohol from Chivas to Tequila to C(S)hardonney. And chances the names have an unusual spelling.

Back when we were Negroes, according to the Trust For America’s Health’s “F as in Fat,” report, “only four states had diabetes rates above 6 percent. … The hypertension rates in 37 states about 20 years ago were more than 20 percent.” Now that we’re African-Americans, that report shows, “every state has a hypertension rate of more than 20 percent, with nine more than 30 percent. Forty-three states have diabetes rates of more than 7 percent, and 32 have rates above 8 percent. Adult obesity rates for blacks topped 40 percent in 15 states, 35 percent in 35 states and 30 percent in 42 states and Washington, D.C.

Back when we were Negroes, the one-room church was the community center that everyone used. Now that we’re African-Americans, our churches have lavish — compared to back-in-the-day churches — community centers that usually sit empty because the last thing the new church wants to do is invite the community in.

Back when we were Negroes, we didn’t have to be convinced that education was the key that opened the lock of success, but now that we’re African-Americans, more than 50 percent of our children fail to graduate high school. In Bibb County last year, the system had a dropout rate of 53.4 percent.

Back when we were Negroes, the last thing a young woman wanted to look like was a harlot and a young man a thug, but now that we’re African-Americans, many of our young girls dress like hootchie mamas and our young boys imitate penitentiary custom and wear their pants below the butt line.

If I could reverse all of the above by trading the term “African-American” for “Negro,” what do you think I’d do?

Well, here we are. Thanksgiving has come and gone, Christmas is a few short weeks away, the local weather station is predicting the first major snow fall of the season tonight, my Harley is winterized and the snow blower is gassed up and ready.

I have a lot to be thankful for. My wife is now a breast cancer survivor and doing well, I have a roof over my head and employment with a steady paycheck. My health is reasonably ok and my kids are going to be here over the holiday. My grandkids are awesome and getting cuter by the day.

Every so often I have to take a news moritorium. If I don't, I get too frustrated to function as a normal person. Over the last couple of weeks I missed the media bias toward their occupation darlings, more race-baiting from the left, the Super Commitee predictably failing and Newt pulling ahead in the polls among other stuff.

I said that I missed it...I didn't really, but for a news junkie like me to purposly stay uninformed even for the sake of my mental health is difficult.

I want to address this nut-job directly:
Hey moron! Let me know when you get to Oakland would you? I want to take some video of you attempting to arrest a couple hundred cops with one pair of handcuffs singlehandedly. Since you are the constitutional expert, may I suggest you bring your copy with you so that you can explain where they are going wrong while they're beating the crap out of you. If you browse through some of my past articles, you can tell I'm not a huge fan of most cops either. Too many abuse their authority on a consistent basis and walk around with a chip on their shoulder the size of a tree trunk...HOWEVER, I'm not about to arrest an entire department by myself... (at least not without a pocket full of plastic zip-ties.)

Also don't forget to read them their rights. You don't want them right back out on the street just because you screwed up the arrest procedure. THAT would be embarrassing. You should probably have about 100 or so taxicabs standing by to load these guys into. Loading them into squad cars won't work because you will be arresting all of the drivers. Another thing, don't get tangled up in all of the Tazer wires that will be attached to you. Those things could have a tendency to trip you up if your not careful. I know you have probably thought this all out already, but I'm just sayin'...

Good luck with your mission. Let me know how it works out for you and DEFINITELY post a follow-up YouTube when you get out of the hospital. I want to see what that pretty-boy face looks like after the swelling goes down.

My blogging has not been very consistent these past weeks.

A lot has been happening here at the Ingle house. We have been dealing with surgeries, job changes, and just general busyness. In all honesty though, I need to tell you that there has been another reason as well. I can sum it up in one word, "DISGUST". I have literally been so disgusted with what has been going on, that I didn't even want to talk about it let alone write about it.

I'm disgusted with the so called "Occupiers" that seem to be the darlings of the news media, Hollywood, the Nazi Party, the Socialist Party, the unions, the Democrats, and almost every other organization that seeks to tear this country down. Should Wall Street have been bailed out? ABSOLUTELY NOT! That is the beauty of Capitalism, the cream rises to the top. Some companies would have gone under, and yes, people would be out of work. Guess what...THEY ARE ANYWAY. The bailout and the Trillions that were wasted on it had nothing to do with jobs. It was to support the unions and the agenda driven "green companies" that either didn't even exist yet or have since gone under among other things. It is with disgusted amusement that I hear these mind-numbed sheep being interviewed saying a bunch of jibberish that THEY don't even understand.

I'm disgusted with a President that can't make a right decision to save his ass. This idiot makes Jimmy Carter look like a genius. I'm also frustrated and confused by mindless zombies that still carry water for this guy (see partial list in paragraph above). Are they REALLY that stupid or are they as blinded by ideology as he is and have taken total leave of any modicum of common sense. The reason that Europe is collapsing is BECAUSE of Socialism. The only Socialist country that is surviving is China, and that's because they have turned their people into slaves. Not my idea of freedom...

I'm disgusted with the Republicans. I don't even watch the debates any more. They are eating each other instead of focusing on the real enemy in the White house. Yeah, I know that it's part of the primary process, but right now our country is teetering on the brink of oblivion and they need to focus on their OWN platforms and let US decide who is the best candidate for the job. Tearing one another apart only makes the media salivate at the smell of blood and does nothing to encourage conservative unity.

I'm disgusted that the term "Racist" is being used as a weapon so freely that it has almost lost it's meaning. As a Christian, I am more offended by the thought that saying "nigger" is worse that using my Lord's name in vain at every turn. I admire Herman Cain, Allen West, Clarence Thomas, Alan Keyes, J.C. Watts, Condoleezza Rice, and others who have taken the heat for being a conservative black American. God bless them for taking a stand for what is right and not being duped by the liberal lies that most of black America is being sucked into. Anyone who has studied American history knows that the Democratic party has done more to promote racism and segregation than the Republicans have. Yet the liberals have seemed to convince the black community that it is they that have their best interest at heart, because instead of giving them the tools they need to succeed, they continue to give them handouts and make them even MORE dependent.

I guess that is the biggest reason I haven't blogged for a while. It seems to be the same old shit, just a different day. I have to believe though that in the end we Conservatives will turn this country around and get it back to it's roots of freedom. There was some nut-job speaking at one of these occupy protests that said their agenda would not be reached without violence. I hope it doesn't come to that, but if that's what they want, I'm ready to go. I will die in the street to defend this country, our freedom, and our Constitution if I have to.

I will never give in and I will never give up.

Rosanne Barr is at it again. This far-left idiot claims she is running for president and part of her platform would be to confiscate wealth and behead those that won't give it up.

Her rantings on the past have obviously made her opinions impotent and without merit, however we are seeing the anti-establishment movement of the 60'd rising again in this Wall Street protest that is going on in New York. As I was watching Fox news reporters interviewing the protesters, it was hilarious and sad at the same time that many of these sheep could not even articulate the reason they were there.

Getting back to this nut-job Barr, She was interviewed by some news reporter that no one has even heard of and here is part of that interview:

"Part of my platform is, of course, the guilty must be punished and that we no longer let our children see their guilty leaders getting away with murder. Because it teaches children, you know, that they don't have to have any morals as long as they have guns and are bullies and I don't think that's a good message," Barr told Russia Today (RT).

"I do say that I am in favor of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.

"I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded,"

I was not able to down load the video of this, but she said all of this with a completely dead pan expression.

Again, the hypocrisy of the left is glaring!!! We should not allow our children to see the immoral behavior of people earning money and being successful but it would be perfectly ok to let them see the morality of confiscating what they have earned and chopping their heads off if they refuse.

Has she released her financial statements to the public? She has made a few bucks over the years and I would like to see how much she has in Swiss banks and hidden in coffee cans in her back yard. She thinks that anyone should be able to live off of 100 million, and while that may be true, I'm sure she has way more than that tucked away somewhere.

Again, this illustrates just how mis-informed, stupid, and naive the left really is. Patriots can chuckle and shake our heads at these people, but the fact is that if enough of these idiots decide to do something stupid on a large scale they could be dangerous.

That is why we need to remain vigilant, prepared, informed, and armed. They cannot and will not have the country that was fought so hard for for so long. ti

Wild Bill for America

A friend of mine let me know about this guy a while back. He goes by "Wild Bill" and has a website called Wild Bill for America.

This guy is really something else...He is from Colorado and was a Deputy US Marshall. Before that he was a Marine. He has graduated from Bible college and has also been a missionary all over the world. Then as a security specialist, he became knowledgeable about Islamic violence and has actually studied it. He also trained security teams to protect missionaries in the field. He knows about Islam and especially it's dangers.

This video, however, is a peek inside the secret service, which he is also familiar with. It provides a good insight as to how these agents are treated by presidents past and present. There is a disturbing pattern that he makes clear as he speaks.

A new coloring book for kids just came out called "We Shall Never Forget". This is a great tool for parents to use to explain to the youngsters why America is good and why those that attack us should be punished. Here is an excerpt from the web site explaining more about the book:

Comparing Obama’s Performance in Office with that of a Sack of Hammers

A friend of mine sent this to me. Though it is a bit lengthy for a blog, I posted it in it's entirety. I have seen many articles and essays comparing Obummer to many people in history. This however, finally compares him to something that is his intellectual equal. I have no idea who wrote this, but if I did I would be glad to credit them for it. Such insight deserves recognition. ti

President Barack Obama is an Ivy League-educated man of considerable intelligence and ambition who has surrounded himself with numerous experts to help in his decision-making. With these advantages, he has tried a number of things to help the country domestically and in the area of foreign affairs. But at the end of the day, how does Obama’s efficacy in office compare to that of a sack of hammers?

It’s somewhat difficult to judge the performance of a president with all the factors that need to be considered and trying to figure out the president’s effect on them, but perhaps the best way to accurately assess the effectiveness of a president is to judge him against the expected performance of a sack of hammers in a similar situation (which is known as the “Coolidge Test”). Basically, the question is: Instead of electing the current president, would the country have been better off taking a burlap sack to Ace Hardware, filling it with approximately one hundred dollars worth of hammers, and placing that in the Oval Office?
As long as it’s an old burlap sack and the hammers were made in America, this is a perfectly constitutional option for president. It’s never been tried, though, so it only exists as a hypothetical. Nevertheless, the nature of a sack of hammers is pretty easy to predict, so we can accurately assess how it would have performed in similar situations versus the more ambitious and active people who tend to be elected president. So let’s go through the issues that Barack Obama has dealt with and, in as fair and balanced a manner as possible, determine whether he has performed better, worse, or about the same as a sack of hammers.

Stimulating the Economy
The obvious first problem President Obama had to deal with when taking office was the failing economy. The economy is dictated by more factors than a human mind could ever hope to comprehend or control, so obviously this is an area where a sack of hammers tends to excel. But Obama, much like other presidents filled with meat and goo instead of hammers, felt compelled to react to the crisis by doing something drastic, even when the situation was beyond his comprehension. Thus Obama spent an exorbitant amount — throwing billions of dollars around in a panicked and haphazard fashion, hoping some of that money would lead to economic growth and job creation. The results we see now are a further depressed economy with no near-term hope of recovery, plus increased debt which adds to the country’s instability.
In the same situation, a sack of hammers would not have panicked. It seems to better understand that a president can’t actually create jobs or improve businesses and thus would simply stay out of the way and let the complex economy solve its own problems through the process of capitalism. This would have created an atmosphere of much greater stability while also not adding enormous amounts to our debt. The only strike against a sack of hammers is that it would have let the Bush tax cuts automatically expire, but overall its calmer, steadier approach to the economy would have had many more advantages than Obama’s frantic approach.

JUDGMENT: Obama does much worse than a sack of hammers in stimulating the economy.

Health Care
This is an area in which pretty much everyone agrees reform is needed, but a sack of hammers would have no interest in changing the status quo. Of course, after ObamaCare, Americans would love to return to that status quo and shed the new, expensive legislation and its negative effects on jobs
JUDGMENT: Obama does worse than a sack of hammers on health care.

Gulf Oil Spill
The Gulf oil spill is one of the few areas in which Obama employed the same strategy as a sack of hammers, doing nothing for a few weeks. Eventually, he became engaged in the issue and threatened to put together a panel of experts so he’d know “whose ass to kick.” A sack of hammers, on the other hand, never listens to experts.
JUDGMENT: A virtual tie. If you value false bravado, you can give a slight edge to Obama over a sack of hammers.

Middle East Conflicts
A sack of hammers is an isolationist at heart, as it has little interest in getting involved in foreign conflicts. Still, it would have left the current conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq in the hands of the generals. This is in contrast to Obama, who made his own demands on troop levels beyond the recommendations of the generals.
The main difference between Obama and a sack of hammers would be in Libya. A sack of hammers would never have started a new conflict there.
JUDGMENT: Mixed. A sack of hammers would certainly have been better at not inserting politics into military decisions in our current wars, but the final judgment comes down to whether one considers intervention in Libya important. If you do, you can give a slight edge to Obama, but if you’re against new conflicts in the Middle East, a sack of hammers is clearly the better choice.

Leadership
Many people consider leadership to be important to a presidency, and a sack of hammers would have absolutely no interest in this role. It would never consider rousing the American people to action or trying to enact social change; instead it would just sit out of the way and let everyone do their own thing.
Barack Obama has at least tried to be a leader. He’s given numerous speeches — something a sack of hammers would never do — and attempted to inspire people at times. The end results haven’t been great, and mainly people are just annoyed when he interrupts their TV shows, but at least he’s trying.
JUDGMENT: Obama does somewhat better than a sack of hammers at being a leader.

Foreign Relations
Obama has tried to improve relations with other nations with mixed results. Some of our closest allies, such as the British, have felt snubbed at times, and despite Obama’s outreach to Muslims, America’s popularity in the Middle East has dropped. Also, Obama has done odd things like bow to foreign sovereigns, which has undermined America’s image of authority.
A sack of hammers would be extremely aloof toward foreign leaders. This might seem negative at times, but one of the best ways to assert dominance is to ignore others. In this way, many foreign leaders would probably come to respect — and perhaps slightly fear — the sack of hammers and its mysterious, unreadable attitude.
It seems unlikely that a sack of hammers would receive a Nobel Peace Prize like Obama, but who in the world knows how those people think?
JUDGMENT: Obama is slightly worse than a sack of hammers in the area foreign relations.

The Debt
The debt has been a huge problem for the country for some time. In fact, to even consider balancing the budget we will need drastic cuts to many entitlements. Obviously, a sack of hammers is averse to doing anything labeled “drastic” and would have just left spending at its current level. This seems bad, but it’s much better than President Obama, who has only added to the annual deficit while in charge. With a sack of hammers, it is unlikely that by now spending would have increased to the level that caused our credit downgrade with S&P.
Also, long term, the sack of hammers’ strategy would have forced a balanced budget, as it would never considering raising the debt ceiling. This would have forced many budget cuts before the debt limit was ever reached.
JUDGMENT: Obama does immensely worse than a sack of hammers in the area of the national debt.

Overall
Taking all these areas into consideration, it’s pretty easy to see that a sack of hammers would be a much better president than Obama. This isn’t to say that Obama is dumber than a sack of hammers — a ridiculous assertion — it’s just to say that he’s much worse at being a president than one.
Of course, this is all hypothetical, as you’ll never find a sack of hammers with the fire in the belly necessary to both run for president and win. Perhaps that’s a problem in our system of democracy that someone like a sack of hammers, who would be an above average to great president, could never be elected.
Interestingly, the place where a sack of hammers would excel the most would be the post presidency. If you’re Habitat for Humanity and want to build a bunch of houses, which would be more useful to you: another Jimmy Carter or a sack full of hammers?

How many MILLIONS have been spent on programs to try and help the black community rise above it's poverty, only to have people take advantage of the system and drain it dry. Kids having more babies so they can get more government aid instead of being responsible and getting a job at Burger King like other kids do. How many BILLIONS are we spending on the federal prison system housing inmates who consider it a gang "rite of passage" to be there.

Under what excuse? I want somebody to love me. And as soon as you have it, you forget to parent. Grandmother, mother, and great grandmother in the same room, raising children, and the child knows nothing about love or respect of any one of the three of them." "[Black youth] are showing you what’s wrong. People putting their clothes on backwards. Isn’t that a sign of something going on wrong? Are you not paying attention? People with their hat on backwards, pants down around the crack. Isn’t that a sign of something or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up?"

Listen up you liberal women racists, stop blaming the Tea Party because they don't want to keep throwing money into a black hole and getting nothing for it. Stop comparing the Tea Party to the Klan. Read your history, The Klan was started by southern Democrats. As I drive through Gary and Chicago, I see neighborhoods that look like bombed out war zones. Boarded up buildings, junk cars lining the streets, prostitutes and drug dealers on the sidewalks. Let me ask you...did the Tea Party go in and wreck those buildings? Did the Tea Party spray paint gang graffiti everywhere? Is it the Tea Party causing the gunfire in the middle of the night? Some of the houses in those hoods look like they were once showplaces many years ago in a clean suburban neighborhood. Did the Tea Party tear the doors off of the hinges, turn them into crack houses and turn the manicured lawns to patches of dirt?

In other words ladies, SHUT THE HELL UP and look in the mirror for help. You are the ones who have the biggest stake in your success. Shut your fat mouths, get off of your fat asses, quit bitching and take some responsibility to encourage your community to do likewise. ti

OK...I've spoken in front of large crowds, and it's easy to get tangled up sometimes. When I speak, it's because I am relaying what is in my heart. I can't speak it if I don't feel it. I'm not up there to impress anyone, I'm there to share my thoughts and hopefully make a difference in someone's life.

That's what this guy is supposed to do for a living. If you really have deep seated convictions, it is easy to speak from the heart and do it well. Reagan did it all the time. I'm convinced this guy really doesn't believe what he is saying. Without convictions and his teleprompter, he's lost and rambling. And yeah, he really is a flake. ti

So HERE is how GM is thanking it's customers (taxpayers) who bailed their asses out with a few Bil in stimulus money. WE WON'T COVER YOUR WARRANTY!! Sad but true.

Here's how it works, GM's UAW built a piece of crap Impala with known chassis problems in '07 and '08 and now refuses to fix them under warranty. Somehow, they feel that since the company was under the old regime pre-stimulus, they should not be responsible for their product under the post-stimulus new regime. Just because the customer has to replace the front tires every 6000 miles because of faulty spindle rods, that does not mean that the new blood-sucking leadership should have to fix it.

What happened to "Built with pride in America"? I mean, this sounds like something Toyota would pull. I guess as long as GM is taking our hard-earned tax money, and the UAW is drawing their bloated paychecks and pensions, and whining for more, they are happy. Screw the consumer...thanks for the bailout, now go away kid, ya bother me.

Ya know what GM? Screw YOU and the lazy union slackers that work for you. Keep your junk cars...I'll never buy one.

First of all...thanks for the e-mails wondering where I've been. It was a combination of things these past few weeks like, working over-time, exhaustion, not keeping up with current events, and even just being disgusted with what I WAS hearing that made me take a couple week break. Thanks for missing me.

Now on with the GREAT news! I read in my newest issue of American Rifleman (NRA member magazine) that after many years Wisconsin, on June 24 finally passed a Right to Carry law! This has been a long time coming and the gun owners in the Badger state have fought long and hard to win this victory.

Not surprisingly, the media is having a hissy fit over it predicting mayhem, shootouts in the streets and a return to the wild west days. They always do that and fortunately no one listens to them anymore.

According to the AR article, they quoted a Wausau Daily Herald article about an inn owner that stated,"that's what we have law enforcement for. If there's an issue, they're only a phone call away." Yeah...A police car can travel at 120 miles an hour. A bullet travels at 1100 feet per second. I'll stake my life on the bullet, thanks.

It seems that pro-gun legislators succeeded twice by a two-thirds majority to pass a CCW law only to have it vetoed by then Governor Jim Doyle. You've heard of him, he was the one with his lips firmly planted on the butts of the Wisconsin public worker union leaders. Now thanks to Scott Walker, a man with a heart AND a brain, it finally passed and became law.

Now, all eyes are on Illinois. Their anti-gun laws will be changing shortly against the will of their liberal state government. It will be fantastic to watch Governor Quinn, Rahm Emmanuel, as well as the rest of the libs ruling that state, as they are dragged kicking and screaming through the gates of freedom against their will. It will also be nice to know that I will no longer be a criminal in that state each time I cross the state line wearing my sidearm and that I won't be risking a shootout with police that will change my life for the worse or get me killed if they try to arrest me for exercising my God-given, Constitutional right to protect myself and family.

We are slowly gaining ground, inch by inch. The sad part of it is... it shouldn't have to be this difficult. ti

This was sent to me by a Friend of mine. I've seen it before, but I thought I would post it. I added a comment at the end that I thought was appropriate.

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists, and Obama supporters, et. al.:

We Americans have stuck together since the late 1950s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course.

Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

1. Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by land mass, each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy. Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides had such distinct and disparate tastes.

2. We don't like redistributive taxes, so you can keep them.

3. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.

4. Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military.

5. We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar, and bio-diesel.

6. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, and Rosie O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.

7. We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart, and Wall Street.

8. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless homeboys, hippies, druggies, and illegal aliens.

9. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks.

10. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.

11. You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.

12. You can have the peace-niks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

13. We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.

14. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness, and Shirley McLain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.

15. We'll keep the SUV's, pickup trucks, and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

16. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.

17. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

18. We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem."

19. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya," or "We Are the World".

20. We'll practice trickledown economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot.

21. Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

You MUST see this video. The subtitles are hard to see sometimes, but the crux of the story is that this Palestinian woman was severely burned at her home in Gaza (might we assume she was manufacturing explosives???) and was given permission to be treated in an Israeli hospital. Some time afterward, she disguises herself as pregnant and tries to get back into the same hospital with a bomb strapped to her. Her explosive device was found during a routine security check at Erez checkpoint.

Yes, she was going to blow up the SAME hospital and the SAME people that saved her life before.

I cannot figure out WHY for the life of me, that Obummer and his liberal minions think that it is Israel's obligation to make nice to these low-life animals (other than the fact that he is Muslim too). It seems that when they do make an effort, it is rewarded with treachery. ti

This is one of the reasons Arabs are scared to death of the Israelis. What you are about to watch is an actual event. The Israeli Armed Forces filmed this in real time. What you'll see is a fully armoured Syrian tank being hit by an Israeli laser-guided, steel-penetrating, phosphorous-filled "hand held" rocket. The rocket is small, very portable and is a tightly controlled weapon. Each one is accounted for when they are checked out and back in. There must be no fewer than 2 soldiers present to verify the use, one must be a senior officer with a minimum of 10 years military service. (the name and program is classified)

This tank was headed for one of Israel 's settlements. There were four more tanks one mile to the rear of this tank. They turned around before getting to this area after learning what had happened to the lead tank.

You can hear the ammunition going off after the initial strike. No Syrian tank crew member survived this event (pretty obvious) and it did not make the news.

It is an everyday event for Israel 's Armed Forces and they do not permit the "embedding" of news reporters with their armed forces like we Americans do. This weapon and its tactical use is for their survival, not for "news" entertainment. Perhaps we should take a page from the Israeli Military Handbook.

The world is just one misstep away from a complete financial, economic and geo-political meltdown.

Though the mainstream voices have calmed their reports of middle east conflict amid the debt ceiling and negative economic development in the US and Europe, military intervention in Iran has not been taken off the table.

The Daily Crux reports via the Economic Policy Journal and Zero Hedge:

Robert Baer has had a storied career, including a stint in Iraq in the 1990s where he organised opposition to Saddam Hussein. (He was recalled after being accused of trying to organise Saddam’s assassination.) Upon his retirement, he received a top decoration for meritorious service.
Baer is no ordinary CIA operative. George Clooney won an Oscar for playing a character based on Baer in the film Syriana (Baer also wrote the book).
He obviously won’t name many of his sources in Israel, the United States, and elsewhere, but the few he has named are all Israeli security figures who have publically warned that Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are hell-bent on war.
[Baer] appeared on KPFK Los Angeles, warning that Israeli PM Netanyahu is “likely to ignite a war with Iran in the very near future.” It gets worse: “Masters asked Baer why the US military is not mobilising to stop this war from happening. Baer responded that the military is opposed, as is former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who used his influence to thwart an Israeli attack during the Bush and Obama administrations. But he’s gone now and “there is a warning order inside the Pentagon” to prepare for war.” The punchline: “There is almost “near certainty” that Netanyahu is “planning an attack [on Iran] … and it will probably be in September before the vote on a Palestinian state. And he’s also hoping to draw the United States into the conflict“, Baer explained.”

While President Obama has not exactly been fully supportive of Israel (at least overtly), an attack on Iran by the Israelis would no doubt be considered by Iran as having been supported by the United States. That being the case, Iran would respond militarily against all US forces in the region, especially those in Iraq, at the first sign of any trouble. Subsequently, the U.S. would return fire en masse, perhaps even utilizing the nuclear option to incapacitate any possibility of an Iranian nuclear response.

What China would do is the unknown variable, but it is clear that the US and China are engaged in a covert war economically, financially and in cyberspace. The recent UN actions in Libya may have been sold to the world public as a peacekeeping mission, but one side issue that has remained in the background is China’s removal of some 30,000 workers from state sponsored oil facilities in the country as a result of the conflict. This leaves one to wonder whether the UN action was a veiled attempt at controlling the oil interests in North Africa. How long before the Chinese decide that their interests have been violated and they get involved militarily? Could an attack on Iran be the catalyst that brings China into the mix?

It is our opinion that what we have seen in the middle east since 2002, including the destabilization of governments in the region over the last 12 months, is a precursor to a war that will eventually encompass the entire world.

Whether this goes critical in September, or at some time in the future, is of no matter. War is coming to the world, as it always does when the economies of empires collapse and national interests over resources collide.

It's on it's way folks and at this point, short of a miracle, I don't think there is anything we can do to stop it. I believe that before the year is over we are going to see and experience things that we have never had to deal with in our lifetime.
The weird thing is, that I truly am not fearful. It is going to be exciting to see how God is going to handle this. If I go down, I want to do it fighting for my God and Country. I am getting prepared. I hope you are too. ti

Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), a member of the Congressional Black Caucus (a racist organization, by he way.) on Friday, "I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,” She added, “Why is he different? (Because he is a Marxist.) And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? (Mostly because he is a narcissistic, arrogant SOB who loves to talk down to everyone.) Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? (Good question, it shouldn't have been.) Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?” (So he can't do any more damage to this country, the Constitution, the economy, and jobs than he already has.)

She goes on to say, "I am particularly sensitive (and as we all know, sensitivity is what they are all about) to the fact that only this president — only this one, only this one — has received the kind of attacks and disagreement and inability to work, only this one." Did she say ONLY this one??? (Yeah, 4 times). Evidently she has never heard of Abe Lincoln, Jack Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, G.W. Bush...etc.

"I hope someone will say that what it appears to be, is not in fact accurate," She said, "But historically it seems to be nothing more." Awwwww... poor misguided baby...

They won't admit that Obummer is the most liberal and socially dangerous president in our history. Thanksgiving 2022

Winston, come into the dining room, it's time to eat," Julia yelled to her husband. "In a minute, honey, it's a tie score," he answered. Actually Winston wasn't very interested in the traditional holiday football game between Detroit and Washington .

Ever since the government passed the Civility in Sports Statute of 2017, outlawing tackle football for its "unseemly violence" and the "bad example it sets for the rest of the world," Winston was far less of a football fan than he used to be. Two-hand touch wasn't nearly as exciting.

Yet it wasn't the game that Winston was uninterested in. It was more the thought of eating another tofu turkey. Even though it was the best type of veggiemeat available after the government revised the American Anti-Obesity Act of 2018, adding fowl to the list of federally forbidden foods, (which already included potatoes, cranberry sauce and mince-meat pie), it wasn't anything like real turkey. And ever since the government officially changed the name of Thanksgiving Day to A National Day of Atonement in 2020 to officially acknowledge the pilgrims' historically brutal treatment of Native Americans, the holiday had lost a lot of its luster.

Eating in the dining room was also a bit daunting. The unearthly gleam of government-mandated fluorescent light bulbs made the tofu turkey look even weirder than it actually was, and the room was always cold. Ever since Congress passed the Power Conservation Act of 2016, mandating all thermostats -- which were monitored and controlled by the electric company -- be kept at 68 degrees, every room on the north side of the house was barely tolerable throughout the entire winter.

Still, it was good getting together with family. Or at least most of the family. Winston missed his mother, who passed on in October, when she had used up her legal allotment of life-saving medical treatment. He had had many heated conversations with the Regional Health Consortium, spawned when the private insurance market finally went bankrupt, and everyone was forced into the government health care program. And though he demanded she be kept on her treatment, it was a futile effort. "The RHC's resources are limited," explained the government bureaucrat Winston spoke with on the phone. "Your mother received all the benefits to which she was entitled. I'm sorry for your loss."

Ed couldn't make it either. He had forgotten to plug in his electric car last night, the only kind available after the Anti-Fossil Fuel Bill of 2021 outlawed the use of the combustion engines--for everyone but government officials. The fifty mile round trip was about ten miles too far, and Ed didn't want to spend a frosty night on the road somewhere between here and there.

Thankfully, Winston's brother, John, and his wife were flying in. Winston made sure that the dining room chairs had extra cushions for the occasion. No one complained more than John about the pain of sitting down so soon after the government-mandated cavity searches at airports, which severely aggravated his hemorrhoids. Ever since a terrorist successfully smuggled a cavity bomb onto a jetliner, the TSA told Americans the added "inconvenience" was an "absolute necessity" in order to stay "one step ahead of the terrorists." Winston's own body had grown accustomed to such probing ever since the government expanded their scope to just about anywhere a crowd gathered, via Anti-Profiling Act of 2022. That law made it a crime to single out any group or individual for "unequal scrutiny," even when probable cause was involved. Thus, cavity searches at malls, train stations, bus depots, etc., etc., had become almost routine. Almost.

The Supreme Court is reviewing the statute, but most Americans expect a court composed of six progressives and three conservatives to leave the law intact. "A living constitution is extremely flexible," said the Court's eldest member, Elena Kagan. " Europe has had laws like this one for years. We should learn from their example," she added.

Winston's thoughts turned to his own children. He got along fairly well with his 12-year-old daughter, Brittany, mostly because she ignored him. Winston had long ago surrendered to the idea that she could text anyone at any time, even during Atonement Dinner. Their only real confrontation had occurred when he limited her to 50,000 texts a month, explaining that was all he could afford. She whined for a week, but got over it.

His 16-year-old son, Jason, was another matter altogether. Perhaps it was the constant bombarding he got in public school that global warming, the bird flu, terrorism or any of a number of other calamities were "just around the corner," but Jason had developed a kind of nihilistic attitude that ranged between simmering surliness and outright hostility. It didn't help that Jason had reported his father to the police for smoking a cigarette in the house, an act made criminal by the Smoking Control Statute of 2018, which outlawed smoking anywhere within 500 feet of another human being. Winston paid the $5,000 fine, which might have been considered excessive before the American dollar became virtually worthless as a result of QE13. The latest round of quantitative easing the federal government initiated was, once again, to "spur economic growth." This time they promised to push unemployment below its years-long rate of 18%, but Winston was not particularly hopeful.

Yet the family had a lot for which to be thankful, Winston thought, before remembering it was a Day of Atonement. At least he had his memories. He felt a twinge of sadness when he realized his children would never know what life was like in the Good Old Days, long before government promises to make life "fair for everyone" realized their full potential. Winston, like so many of his fellow Americans, never realized how much things could change when they didn't happen all at once, but little by little, so people could get used to them.

He wondered what might have happened if the public had stood up while there was still time, maybe back around 2011, when all the real nonsense began. "Maybe we wouldn't be where we are today if we'd just said 'enough is enough' when we had the chance," he thought.

Maybe so, Winston. Maybe so.

According to a recent paper that was written by a couple of Harvard eggheads, the Fourth of July holiday belongs to US! The paper was written by Harvard Kennedy School Assistant Professor David Yanagizawa-Drott and Bocconi University Assistant Professor Andreas Madestam.

Here is an excerpt: "The political right has been more successful in appropriating American patriotism and its symbols during the 20th century. Survey evidence also confirms that Republicans consider themselves more patriotic than Democrats. According to this interpretation, there is a political congruence between the patriotism promoted on Fourth of July and the values associated with the Republican party. Fourth of July celebrations in Republican dominated counties may thus be more politically biased events that socialize children into Republicans."

Here's more, "Surprisingly, the estimates show that the impact on political preferences is permanent, with no evidence of the effects depreciating as individuals become older,"

It's no surprise that Conservatives love this holiday more than the libs. While we are waving the flag, they are burning it. While we love the Constitution and what it stands for, they hate it and would change or abolish it all together if they could. While we love our freedoms, they would rather see the government take over our lives and steal and redistribute what we have worked for. While we want to see everyone have the same opportunity to be able to work for the American dream, they would like to see the poor remain poor and dependent on government so that they can protect their voting base with empty promises. As much as we love our country, they wish to destroy it, tear it down, and rebuild it into something that would resemble Marx rather than what our founders dreamed of.

This was sent in by a friend of mine who thinks, as do I, that this very well could play out here. One of my best friends is a Brit, and he and I have spoken many times about how he has seen the freedoms of his countrymen deteriorate over the years. That's why he moved here to the US. I can't understand how this could happen to a country and a people that have stood strong in the face of danger so many times in their history. How could they allow themselves to become subjects instead of free people? Why did they not see this coming and head it off?

This underscores to me that we as American Patriots can NEVER let our guard down. ti

You're sound asleep when you hear a thump outside your bedroom door. Half-awake, and nearly paralyzed with fear, you hear muffled whispers. At least two people have broken into your house and are moving your way. With your heart pumping, you reach down your bed and pick up your shotgun. You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it.

In the darkness, you make out two shadows. One holds something that looks like a crowbar. When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire. The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside.

As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you're in trouble.

In your country, most guns were outlawed years before, and the few that are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them useless.

Yours was never registered.

Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has died. They arrest you for First Degree Murder and Illegal Possession of a Firearm. When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.

"What kind of sentence will I get?" you ask. "Only ten-to-twelve years," he replies, as if that's nothing. "Behave yourself, and you'll be out in seven."

The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper. Somehow, you're portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot are represented as choirboys.

Their friends and relatives can't find an unkind word to say about them. Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both "victims" have been arrested numerous times.

But the next day's headline says it all: "Lovable Rogue Son Didn't Deserve to Die." The thieves have been transformed from career criminals into Robin Hood-type pranksters..

As the days wear on, the story takes wings. The national media picks it up, then the international media. The surviving burglar has become a folk hero.

Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you, and he'll probably win.

The media publishes reports that your home has been burglarized several times in the past and that you've been critical of local police for their lack of effort in apprehending the suspects. After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you would be prepared next time. The District Attorney uses this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars.

A few months later, you go to trial. The charges haven't been reduced, as your lawyer had so confidently predicted. When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you. Prosecutors paint a picture of you as a mean, vengeful man. It doesn't take long for the jury to convict you of all charges. The judge sentences you to life in prison.

This case really happened. On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk , England , killed one burglar and wounded a second.

In April, 2000, he was convicted and is now serving a life term..

How did it become a crime to defend one's own life in the once great British Empire?

It started with the Pistols Act of 1903.

This seemingly reasonable law forbade selling pistols to minors or felons and established that handgun sales were to be made only to those who had a license. The Firearms Act of 1920 expanded licensing to include not only handguns but all firearms except shotguns.

Later laws passed in 1953 and 1967 outlawed the carrying of any weapon by private citizens and mandated the registration of all shotguns.

Momentum for total handgun confiscation began in earnest after the Hungerford mass shooting in 1987. Michael Ryan, a mentally disturbed man with a Kalashnikov rifle, walked down the streets shooting everyone he saw.When the smoke cleared, 17 people were dead.

The British public, already de-sensitized by eighty years of "gun control", demanded even tougher restrictions. (The seizure of all privately owned handguns was the objective even though Ryan used a rifle..)

Nine years later, at Dunblane , Scotland , Thomas Hamilton used a semi-automatic weapon to murder 16 children and a teacher at a public school.

For many years, the media had portrayed all gun owners as mentally unstable or worse, criminals. Now the press had a real kook with which to beat up law-abiding gun owners. Day after day, week after week, the media gave up all pretense of objectivity and demanded a total ban on all handguns. The Dunblane Inquiry, a few months later, sealed the fate of the few sidearms still owned by private citizens

During the years in which the British government incrementally took away most gun rights, the notion that a citizen had the right to armed self-defense came to be seen as vigilantism. Authorities refused to grant gun licenses to people who were threatened, claiming that self-defense was no longer considered a reason to own a gun. Citizens who shot burglars or robbers or rapists were charged while the real criminals were released.

Indeed, after the Martin shooting, a police spokesman was quoted as saying, "We cannot have people take the law into their own hands."

All of Martin's neighbors had been robbed numerous times, and several elderly people were severely injured in beatings by young thugs who had no fear of the consequences. Martin himself, a collector of antiques, had seen most of his collection trashed or stolen by burglars.

When the Dunblane Inquiry ended, citizens who owned handguns were given three months to turn them over to local authorities.

Being good British subjects, most people obeyed the law. The few who didn't were visited by police and threatened with ten-year prison sentences if they didn't comply.

Police later bragged that they'd taken nearly 200,000 handguns from private citizens.
How did the authorities know who had handguns?

The guns had been registered and licensed.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good.”

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job!

Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy was speaking to a congregation recently at St. Sabina’s Church in Chicago and said that federal gun laws are the same as “government-sponsored racism.” Here is part of what he said: “I want you to connect one more dot on that chain of African-American history in this country, and tell me if I’m crazy: Federal gun laws that facilitate the flow of illegal firearms into our urban centers, across this country, that are killing black and brown children,”

He also said: “Strong gun laws against illegal firearms are critical in order to maintain public safety and private rights.” As well as: “The NRA does not like me, and I’m OK with that.”

Let's analyze what he said using logic and common sense, two elements that are unknown to the liberal mind.

First and foremost as per his request, I will say, "YES, you are crazy." Not only crazy, but irresponsible, out of touch, elitist, and stupid as well.

Second, What's with the "racism" crap. It's amazing how liberals can tie this word in with virtually ANYTHING they want to attack conservatives about. Basically, anytime we have a different viewpoint than the libs it is not because we are using common sense and facts, it's because we hate minorities and want to go back to Jim Crow as was stated by the new DNC Chairbabe in the blog below.

Is it racist because the inner-city of Chicago is primarily black and Hispanic and they are the ones shooting each other mostly over drugs and gangs? Is it racist because they are the only ones that are able to beg, borrow, buy, or steal a gun? That can't be it because no one in Chicago is supposed to be able to have one. Is it racist because the gun dealers are infiltrating the city and selling guns only to minorities? That can't be it either. The gun dealers were driven out of the city a while back. Sooo...How can you tie racism in with the mess that they have created? You can't.

Third, how do the Federal gun laws "facilitate" the flow of illegal firearms into Chicago? The only thing I can figure out is that because they are legal in other places, and are brought into the city illegally, the mean old gun manufacturers should not be selling them ANYWHERE. Too bad McCart, we here in Indiana live free. Deal with it.

Fourth, Please explain to me how these illegal firearms that "flow" into the urban centers of the city kill just black and brown children? Again with the demagoguery that the libs are so free with bandying about. I have never heard of a gun killing anyone without someone operating it. Notice how the inanimate object is taking the blame for the low-life scumbag that is employing it. As a civic leader, it is far more convenient to blame an object than to blame the person, because ultimately HE has to take the blame for the high crime rate that is committed by the bad guys. Deflecting the blame to an inanimate object is cowardly and dishonest. If the guns are the problem, then logically the police should not have them either. If those things are just aiming themselves at minority kids and going off by themselves then no one should have them. Using that reasoning, they are also useless for defending one's self against someone who is trying to do you harm.

Fifth,“Strong gun laws against illegal firearms are critical in order to maintain public safety and private rights" is just more liberal horse crap. Since I cannot have a personal police officer (most of whom I don't trust either, sadly.) follow me around all day to keep me safe, I must take responsibility for that myself. I should use common sense in where I go, who I hang with, the activities I involve myself in, and the weapons I choose to use when trouble is unavoidable. As far as maintaining my "private rights", those rights are given to me by God, and preserved by the Constitution. Stronger gun laws are counter to those rights and will not be recognized by me or any other Constitutional Patriot. In fact McCart, I do not recognize your unconstitutional ban, and when I'm in Chicago I have my 9mm holstered under my shirt. I refuse to be a helpless, unarmed victim when I visit your city, and will not be killed by one of your scumbags just because you can't control them. I understand that my Indiana permit is not recognized by your liberal state, but just as I would do if my state ever takes it away, my permission will be granted by the Constitution's second amendment. Should the need arise that I am ever forced to use it, I'll deal with it then, but at least I'll still be alive.

You can argue that he used the words "illegal firearms" but I'm not buying that. These fools think that ALL firearms should be illegal except for the ones that THEY carry, so that's just another talking point. Mac and those like him think their answer to crime control is to turn us into a police state. This has been tried many times before throughout history, and it only works for a time. Eventually the people rebel and demand their freedoms back. Patriots in this country, like me, will not let you have them to begin with. At least not without one hell of a fight.

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about the double-standards and outright hypocrisy that is part and parcel of the liberal thought (and I use that word loosely) process.

A couple of weeks ago Sarah Palin made a gaffe regarding Paul Revere that was historically inaccurate. And just as they did when Dan Quayle spelled potato with an e years ago, the Left piled on and started beating like cops on a drunk.

While I'm not sure I would want her for president, (didn't say I didn't, I'm just not sure...) the fact remains that she is a very powerful and intimidating force for the Right. The Libs criticize her because they are scared to death of her. They want to destroy her because she speaks the truth and doesn't back down. She plays the mainstream media like the fools they are and they don't like it.

Obummer attended a fundraiser at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, and gushed all over Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D.-Fla.):

“What do you guys think of our new DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman Schultz?” the president asked the audience. “We are so thrilled to have her. You want Debbie on your side. She's a mom, she’s got that cute smile and all that, but she is tough. Don’t mess with Debbie. We are so glad of her leadership.”

Here's what he said at another one:

“To Debbie Wasserman Schultz, thank you for letting me in your district. If you're in the foxhole, you want Debbie alongside you, because not only is she charming and has that dazzling smile, but she's tough as nails. And that’s what’s needed during challenging times.”

OK, He made reference to her cute smile a couple of times...In other words, what he is saying is, "Hey guys, this babe is totally hot, but I'd better not dwell on that, so I'd better interject very quickly that she's tough...cute, but TOUGH, dazzling and charming, but did I also mention that she's tough? Yeah...tough...cute but tough..."

She's not tough, she just has her talking points memorized very well. She says that Republicans believe illegal immigration should be a crime. “That we should just pack them all up and ship them back to their own countries and that in fact it should be a crime and we should arrest them all.” She also said that Republicans “want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws.”

I really like this one: “Diversity on the bench is critical. As practitioners, you need judges who ‘get it’! We need judges who understand what discrimination feels like. We need judges who understand what inequality feels like. We need judges who understand the subtleties of unfair treatment and who are willing to call it out when they see it.”

The only thing we need judges to "get" is the Constitution, although it is well known that when the left doesn't get their way by vote, they have no problem appointing judges who will legislate from the bench.

On the Paul Ryan attempt to control government spending, she said, “We see a clear attempt for the government to back out of its commitment to seniors. As a result, many seniors in America will be forced into poverty, and worse. Some seniors will end up dying because they are forced to put off getting that pain checked out due to huge out-of-pocket costs that will skyrocket for them. … This plan would literally be a death trap for some seniors.” Anyone who has read the plan knows this is patently untrue, including her.

It was overheard that when Obummer went back to his seat after gushing about his new girl, Michelle leaned over and asked, "Do you think she's pretty?"... "Uhhh...she's ok I guess."... "But, is she prettier than me???"..."Uhhh...Shut up Michelle and eat...here you can have my dessert."

For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain . My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night suite at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force 2 and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times.

Air Force 2 only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. I do appreciate your sacrifice and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days!

This just in...according to the Drudge Report, General Motors Co. CEO Dan Akerson thinks that there should be a 50 cent to a dollar tax per gallon on gas! WHY?? Because the new fuel standards regulations will cut into their profits...you know...the ones they are making because us taxpayers were forced against our will to bail them out. "You know what I'd rather have them do — this will make my Republican friends puke — as gas is going to go down here now, we ought to just slap a 50-cent or a dollar tax on a gallon of gas," Akerson said. "People will start buying more Cruzes and they will start buying less Suburbans."

What an ass! One thing he's right about though, he DOES make me want to puke. Not only do we as taxpayers get threatened with imprisonment if we don't bail out this irresponsible company along with it's EQUALLY irresponsible union, we get a knife in the back by the idiot sitting in the CEO's chair who wants to FORCE us to buy his over-priced little tin cans that get 40 mpg. I stumbled across a website called Exposing Leftists.com. It's not only very interesting, but a bit scary. Here is an exerpt from their intro page: In 2011, three college students by the names of Oliver Darcy, Michael Fincher, and Maurice Lewis started recording videos in order to show a greater audience the hypocrisies of liberals on college campuses...As a result, the trio created ExposingLeftists.com as a forum to continue to reveal the inconsistencies and failures of the liberal students and faculty at college campuses across America.

As I browsed through the videos, I had to keep in mind that:
A) These are only college kids.
B) Many times they put ideology over common sense (as do most liberals.)
C) This is a "phase" most kids go through due to peer pressure and rebellion.
D) These are very liberal colleges that these guys are visiting.

It was fascinating to me to see kids in college who didn't even know what the 1st amendment is, say they support free speech and then sign a petition against it. Then when it was explained to them what they just did, they didn't care.

These children are having their brains filled with the hopes and dreams of Socialism and naturally, not being taught to think for themselves, they follow the mantra of the Communist professors whom they trust. Check this out:

Ok, I'm going to give this a try. We'll see how long it lasts.

I read so many other blogs that I kind of feel like sometimes I need to contribute to the bloggosphere in order for it to be complete. I don't really think I have much to contribute but we'll just see how it goes.

That was my first blog back in March '08. It was all the rage and everybody was doing it. Now it's been replaced by Facebook. Don't bother looking me up there, I don't have an account.

I'm not sure why I even started blogging, but I'll tell you I really love it. I have always liked to write even back in school. It seems as though I can organize my thoughts better when they are written and many times as I'm writing, I can solidify them better after I actually SEE them.

As you can see, if you are a long time reader, I think a lot about this country, our freedom, and our heritage. BUT...I also think about other stuff too. Hence, you might see a funny bit someone sent me, a picture of one of my pets, or even my Harley. I get a lot of e-mail, and some of my stuff I glean from those. I really prefer writing my own though.

Thanks for being one of my readers and for all of your input! I love getting e-mails from all over the world and I'm glad that so many people enjoy reading about my never-to-be-humble opinions.

My real reason for writing this though is, I know there are a lot of people reading this on a regular basis that I have NOT heard from. I get hits from England, Israel, Poland, and other countries I have to look up on Google that I've never heard of. I even get hits from Washington DC! (I hope it's somebody from Obummer's staff.)

Even though I take a sabbatical once in a while, I'll continue to blog 'till I don't have any more to say...(never happen!)

A guitar manufacturer buys ebony from a reputable broker in good faith, but somewhere between the tree cutting and the delivery, someone who had custody of the wood failed to file a form. A mom and pop retailer has 30 guitars on the store wall, but can't precisely document the genus and species of woods used in each instrument, let alone where the woods came from. What do these seemingly innocuous scenarios have in common? Brian MajeskiThey are all illegal under federal law and could be punishable with immediate confiscation of the instrument in question, not to mention hefty fines and jail time. It's a sad state of affairs when poorly drafted legislation criminalizes large swaths of an industry that delivers a proven societal benefit, but that's where we are in 2011.

Welcome to the new and improved Lacey Act.

First passed in 1900 under the McKinley administration, the Lacey Act was originally drafted to regulate traffic in animal wildlife, and for over a century served its purpose without controversy. Then in 2008, the Oregonian congressional delegation, led by Democratic Senator Ron Wyden, expanded its reach to cover "any wild member of the plant kingdom." The rationale for the legislation was economic. Wyden's amendment read, "Ending deforestation through incentives in [the] United States would boost U.S. agricultural revenue by an estimated $190 [billion] to $270 billion between 2012 and 2030." Wyden later said of the bill, it "will go a long way towards not only leveling the playing field for American manufacturers, but to protecting jobs." This proposed jobs booster was buried in a massive agricultural subsidy bill and passed without debate or public commentary. What Senator Wyden overlooked was that the law of unintended consequences remains very much in force, and that his efforts to prop up timber jobs in the Pacific Northwest would take a heavy toll on other segments of the economy.

In the name of protecting logging jobs, the amended Lacey Act requires buyers and sellers of instruments to be able to document the type of woods used in a product and verify that they were harvested in accordance with all international laws and treaties. This means that, under Lacey, any and all instruments need to comply with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The CITES treaty, which bans trade in more than 1,000 endangered plant and animal species, including ivory, Brazilian rosewood, and certain types of ebony, formerly applied only to international shipments. Now it applies to interstate commerce as well. Thus, under the amended Lacey Act, when Vince Gill tours the country this summer with his vintage Martin guitar, each time his bus crosses a state line, he's broken the law. So are the numerous online retailers offering vintage guitars with Brazilian rosewood, ebony, or ivory appointments. CITES, and by definition Lacey, applies to new and old instruments alike, and have no "di minimus" requirement, so an instrument crafted entirely out of endangered woods, or one with a single ivory fret dot, are both in violation and subject to confiscation.

For makers and sellers of new and vintage instruments, complying with these burdensome regulations will inevitably add administrative costs. However, the costs pale next to the crippling uncertainty introduced into the marketplace. Scientific experts often have difficulty identifying the genus and species of a piece of raw wood, let alone where it came from. The challenge increases exponentially once the wood has gone through a manufacturing process and been painted. If scientists are unable to make a definitive determination, is it fair to demand that instrument makers and sellers do so? And, what to do about vintage instruments containing ivory, ebony, and rosewood? Is it now illegal to sell them, own them, or ship them?

The inherent vagaries in the law, along with the potent enforcement capabilities of the state, are a recipe for trouble. The Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has said that it lacks the resources to mount an aggressive inspection effort. However, in the past year, this hasn't stopped them from raiding the Gibson factory in Nashville for allegedly having illegal woods in inventory, or from convicting and fining Pascal Vieillard of A440 Pianos for the crime of importing seven century-old Bosend-rfer pianos with ivory keys.

Millions of new and used instruments are shipped and sold on an annual basis, and in the absence of proper documentation, "crimes are being committed." Most of these "crimes" will escape the notice of enforcement agencies. But the risk remains that instruments could be confiscated, and business people could be hit with fines of up to $10,000 per instrument for "knowingly possessing" a non-compliant instrument. In effect, the amendment makes those in the music industry like drug dealers, always looking over their shoulders to avoid the long reach of the law.

Once again, I find myself in the awkward position of having to apologize for our president: "I'm sorry Prime Minister Netanyahu, our president is an idiot."

When he made his speech the other day, tossing you under the bus to the rest of the Arab world, he used the words' "The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states."

Let me assure you Mr. Prime Minister that he does NOT speak for the majority of these United States. Those of us who understand the beginnings of the Israelites and the Ishmaelites (Arabs) know that you are the nation chosen by God to be his special people, and that the land you occupy was given to you by God Himself centuries ago. We also realize that it was prophesied to Hagar, Ishmael's mother that, "He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers." (Gen. 16:12) The father of the Arab nations was conceived out of Abraham's sin of disobedience to God and as such, would not inherit God's blessing as his chosen people.

We also understand that God told Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. (Gen 12:3)" I'm not sure of all the theological implications behind you rejecting Jesus as the Messiah, but I AM sure they are not good. However, since God doesn't back out of his deals, I have to believe that you are still his chosen ones and are not to be trifled with.

Unfortunately, our Muslim president wants to cozy up not only to those who want to kill you, but also want to kill us. We have seen nothing but irresponsibility in the leadership of this guy since he took office, so this really should surprise no one. He and his liberal disciples only seek the downfall of our two nations so that they can be built up again under oppression and intolerance to any thing that resembles individual freedom.

You sir, are a true statesman. You indeed have your nation's best interest at heart and are willing to have the guts to say so and stand against the entire world if need be. Your love for your people is evident in your words and deeds. Our president could learn a lot from you. It would be refreshing to have someone in Washington that we know we could trust and would stand for us.

My hope and prayer is that God will continue to protect you and your great nation in spite of those like Obama who would see you give in to those who wish to destroy you...and us.

When will Obama crack in public?

At a time when many Americans can barely afford Burger King and a movie, Obama boasts of spending a billion dollars on his re-election campaign. Questioned at a recent appearance about the spiraling fuel costs, Obama said, "Get used to it" and with an insouciant grin and chortle, he told another person at the event, who complained about the effect high fuel prices were having on his family, to "get a more fuel-efficient car."

The Obamas behave as if they were sharecroppers living in a trailer and hit the Powerball, but instead of getting new tires for their trailer and a new pickup truck, they moved to Washington. And instead of making possum pie, with goats and chickens in the front yard, they're spending and living large at taxpayer expense opulent vacations, gala balls, resplendent dinners and exclusive command performances at the White House, grand date nights, golf, basketball, more golf, exclusive resorts and still more golf.

Expensive, ill-fitting and ill-chosen wigs and fashions hardly befit the first lady of the United States. The Obamas have behaved in every way but presidential which is why it's so offensive when we hear Obama say, in order "to restore fiscal responsibility, we all need to share in the sacrifice but we don't have to sacrifice the America we believe in."

The American people have been sacrificing; it is he and his family who are behaving as if they've never had two nickels to rub together and now, having hit the mother lode, they're going to spend away their feelings of inadequacy at the taxpayers' expense.

Obama continues to exhibit behavior that, at best, can be described as mobocratic and, at worst, reveals a deeply damaged individual. In a February 2010 column, I asked, "Is Obama unraveling?" I wrote that it was beginning to appear the growing mistrust of him and contempt for his policies was beginning to have a destabilizing effect on him.

At that time, I wrote that not having things go one's way can be a bitter pill, but reasonable people don't behave as he was behaving. He had insulted Republicans at their luncheon, where he had been an invited guest.

I had speculated that was, in part, what had led him to falsely accuse Supreme Court justices before Congress, the nation and the world, during the 2010 State of the Union address.

It appeared, at that time, as if he were "fraying around the emotional edges." That behavior has not abated; it has become more pronounced. While addressing the nation, after being forced to explain the validity of his unilateral aggression with Libya, America witnessed a petulant individual scowling and scolding the public for daring to insist he explain his actions.

But during an afternoon speech to address the budget/debt, he took his scornful, unstable despotic behavior to depths that should give the nation cause for concern. Displaying a dark psychopathy more representative of an episode of "The Tudors" television series, he invited Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis.,to sit in the front row during his speech and then proceeded to berate both Ryan and Ryan's budget-cutting plan. Even liberal Democrats were put off by the act. MSNBC's Joe Scarborough questioned the sanity of Obama's actions.

Today, criticism is coming from all sides. A senior Democrat lawmaker said, "I have been very disappointed in [Obama], to the point where I'm embarrassed that I endorsed him. It's so bad that some of us are thinking, is there some way we can replace him? How do you get rid of this guy?" ("Democrats' Disgust with Obama," The Daily Beast, April 15, 2011)

Steve McCann wrote: Obama's speech "was chock full of lies, deceit and crass fear-mongering. It must be said that [he] is the most dishonest, deceitful and mendacious person in a position of power I have ever witnessed" ("The Mendacity of Barack Obama,"American Thinker.com, April 15, 2011).

McCann continued: "[His] performance was the culmination of four years of outright lies and narcissism that have been largely ignored by the media, including some in the conservative press and political class who are loath to call [him] what he is in the bluntest of terms: a liar and a fraud. That he relies on his skin color to intimidate, either outright or by insinuation [against] those who oppose his radical agenda only add to his audacity. It is apparent that he has gotten away with his character flaws his entire life, aided and abetted by sycophants around him."

With these being among the kinder rebukes being directed at Obama, and with people becoming less intimidated by his willingness to use race as a bludgeon, with falling poll numbers in every meaningful category and an increasingly aggressive tea-party opposition, how much longer before he cracks completely?

The coming months of political life are not going to be pleasant for Obama. Possessed by a self-perceived palatine mindset, that in his mind places him above criticism, how long before he cracks in public? Can America risk a man with a documented track record of lying and misrepresenting truth as a basic way of life, who is becoming increasingly more contumelious?

I'm back! Did ya miss me???

I had to take a bit of a break due to trying to survive. Two jobs and refurbishing my garage have taken just about all of my free time these last few weeks, but it's good to be back.

I HAD to come back if for no other reason then to say to Seal team 6, "GOOD SHOT!" I have found it humorous these past few days as I've listened to the news reports about blowing BL's head off.

PICS or NO PICS: I say, "Who cares?" I don't... Lt. Col. Oliver North said that releasing them would put our troops further into harm's way. I would say that if anyone would know, he would. I really don't need to see them, as far as I'm concerned, he's dead. Mission accomplished.

ARMED or UNARMED: Again I say, "Who cares?" Since we will probably never know for sure what all went on that night, we won't know if he was carrying a gun or not. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter. It was a justifiable shooting. The fact of the matter is that 10 years ago he was armed with three passenger planes and killed 3000 innocent civilians. He has also been either directly or indirectly responsible for those that have been killed in the war with Al-Qaeda. Also since he was on foreign soil, he was not protected by our Constitution, and millions of dollars were saved by not having to provide security, imprisonment, and a trial before we executed him anyway...in about 20 years.

INFORM PAKISTAN or NOT INFORM PAKISTAN about the raid: Are you serious??? Hell no! Sorry we had to trespass in your back yard...hope we didn't step on your flowers.

MUSLIM FUNERAL or NO MUSLIM FUNERAL: Personally I think what they did was a waste of time. He should have had the same respect shown to him as he and his co-animals have had with any of our POW or KIA soldiers that they have gotten a hold of. They should have gutted him and stuffed his carcass full of sausage before they fed him to the sharks.

As I listened to Bammer's self-serving speech after the raid, I wasn't surprised by how many times I heard the words, ME, I, MINE and other references to himself. It was quite apparent that someone on the White House staff had all they could do to keep him from grabbing an M4 and going over there to take BL out himself...single handedly...my hero...

Sooo...that's it. The man-hunt is over and we can all come home. They don't want us there anyway, so why are we wasting so much time, money and lives?? Let's get out of that flea-infested sand pile and concentrate on drilling for our own oil over here.

It needed to happen to prove to the left that we Conservatives are willing to fight and play hardball. Conservatives are, but not Republicans. I guess it's time for the GOP to step aside in favor of the REAL conservatives who want to take our country back.

Ted Nugent, aside from being one of my favorite guitar players is one of my CONSERVATIVE heroes. I totally agree with everything he said on this video...100%. The defense of one's self is a God-given right. I will play the government's silly game of possessing a CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit...for now...however, should that ever be revoked at the whim of some liberal bureaucrat, I will continue to own, possess and carry a firearm to defend myself, my loved ones and our Constitution.

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind
bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a
journalist, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page...
So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?'

The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.'

Well, it sounds as if Scott Walker has been able to do an end-run around the whining Democrat legislators and public-sector union cry babies in Wisconsin.

Now what are we hearing??? The union leaders are pretty pissed off over this turn of events. Here are just a few comments:

"This is another sign that the governor and Legislature are in a desperate power grab to take away the voice of teachers, support staff, nurses, home health care workers and other public employees," said Mary Bell, president of the statewide teachers' union. "These tactics are not in the Wisconsin tradition of open government and do not represent the will of the people." (These people have NEVER wanted open government...until now. The will of the people was demonstrated during the elections and they ARE being represented. ti)

Marty Beil, executive director of the state's largest public employee union, said he didn't think the action meant the law was going to take effect.

"It's craziness. These guys are off the wall. They're drunk with some kind of power or misconception of reality," he said of Walker and Fitzgerald. (WHAT???? WHO'S drunk with power???? The unions have been inebriated for over 100 years!!! ti)

Phil Neuenfeldt, president of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO, called the action an "illegal backdoor maneuver." (Hmmm...seems to me like it's the unions that are trying to "backdoor" the taxpayers. ti)
"This new law mandates that almost all public sector workers, including teachers, to contribute more to their pensions and health insurance, changes that amount to an average 8 percent pay cut. It also strips them of their ability to collectively bargain for anything except wages no higher than inflation." This, according to ABC news.

Personally, I'm lovin' this and I'll tell you why.

First, Wisconsin, just like the federal government is OUT OF MONEY!!! When you are out of money it means just that... you can't spend any more, you're done, end-of-the-road, finished, out. It means something has to give. What is it about this concept that is so difficult for them to understand? They are supposed to be smarter than the rest of us remember?? I have heard all of the whining and crying from the unions saying their children will go hungry and they won't be able to pay their bills. Hey morons, maybe YOU have too many bills!!! If 8 percent off of your paycheck is going to make or break you, then maybe YOU should cut back yourselves like the rest of us have had to do in the real world. You know, things like, sell the car you're making 300 dollar a month payments on and pay cash for an older one? Or how 'bout watching free TV instead of a 100 dollar per month cable bill? Or cutting back on the junk food at the grocery store. Talk about your "misconception of reality", welcome to the way the rest of us live! Just be thankful you have a job!

Second, (and this is my favorite) if my memory serves me correctly, I remember the Libs, backed by union encouragement, shoved a health-care bill down our throats last year that most of us didn't want. They did it through procedural maneuverings and bribery. There was NOTHING honest about how that whole thing went down. We were told to suck it up and that we would know what was in the bill AFTER it passed. They had a party when that piece of legislative trash passed and danced on the graves of our founding fathers who never intended for us to be socialized. The icing on this feces cake was that these union idiots were able to opt out of it and left us stuck paying the bill.

Once again the hypocrisy of the left shines through. It is once again a beacon to remind us of the double standard that they hold so dear. ti

When was the last time you were caught in a traffic jam because of an accident up ahead? You were probably thinking that it's down from 4 lanes to 1 and that's why the hold-up. Come to find out when you get there it's still 4 lanes, but everyone's slowed down to see the wreckage.

Could that be why Charlie Sheen has sold out Radio City Music Hall...twice?

I wasn't even going to blog about the drug-crazed rantings of this lunatic at all up till now. I mean, if this screwball wants to torpedo his life so what?? Then I find out that he has not only sold out RCMH, but venues in 4 other major cities as well.

I have a couple of things that I'm confused about. The first is, what is he going to do in front of all those people? He's not a musician, he doesn't do stand-up comedy, no magic acts, as far as I know he doesn't dance, so...what's he gonna do?? My guess is that he is going to sit on a stool with wild hair and a crazed look in his eye and rant.

My second question is, why would anyone pay these huge ticket prices to see it? Are they as nuts as he is? Is this really what we've come to? This guy should be in rehab in a padded room chained to the wall, and instead he is going to make a few million more dollars just to babble on and on about how rough his life is among all the drugs, booze and porn stars. Do these people have no life? Is that why they're trying to live vicariously through this knucklehead? Or are they just curious to hear what this drug-crazed burn-out is going to say next?

I guess all I can say is, go ahead and buy a ticket if you want to. Me, I'll just drive over to Chicago and cruise the Dan Ryan expressway. At least there while I'm sitting and waiting to pass the next wreck, I can listen to the radio. ti

During the same interview he was talking about things such as jobs, housing and collective bargaining being "democratic rights." I'm not sure what Constitution he is reading that out of...wait a minute...yes I do...it's the Socialist constitution that he and his fellow commies are trying to force upon us.

How stupid ARE these sheeple??? Didn't they get the memo from the USSR, Cuba, Greece, Britain, France, North Korea, and every other country where it has been tried and failed? It produces lazy, unmotivated, people who think they are entitled to a job and everything else they can think of. (See the definition of Democtrat in the illustration above.) Even the Chinese have discovered that they cannot be successful under Socialism. Their government is moving more towards democracy all the time, they just won't admit it.

Actually when it comes right down to it we have no one to blame but ourselves. Ever since FDR, we have made the public more and more dependent on the government. Blame can be placed with both Democrat AND Republican administrations, and it has intruded into places where it doesn't belong and was never intended to be. It was never intended to set up a retirement fund, health care, lending institutions, housing programs, insurance, feeding programs or any such things. These were always meant to be taken care of by the private sector from the beginning.

For those that have dreamed of their socialist utopia, it is becoming a reality. They knew that the more people depended upon sucking from the government breast, the louder they would scream when conservatives attempt to wean them. The reality is that the government or anyone else for that matter, owes them NOTHING but law and order and providing for the common defense.

I lost a high-paying, long term job almost two and a half years ago. It hurt, it felt like a punch in the gut. I will confess that I had my pity party for a bit, but then I determined it was time go pound the pavement and look for a new one. And I did. I have had a few jobs over the past couple of years, most of them menial and not the greatest pay, but they were jobs and I was glad to have them. I did what I had to do to provide for my family and I still am. NO ONE owes me a job...they are scarce but they are out there if you are willing to spend some shoe-leather looking.

Jesse warned that they are willing to escalate the protests. He and those other public-union meat-heads need to understand that if they are pursuing escalation they had better be careful. There are millions of Patriots out here who pay your salaries, and are not the least bit intimidated. The streets J.J. says you are taking to belong to us too and WE are in the majority.

Escalation can backfire, so be cautious. That is OUR warning to you. -ti

A buddy of mine, Mark, sent this to me. It was interesting because it seems like most of my investing practices lately have been to "Buy high, Sell low."

OK, not really, but along with everyone else, I've pretty mich kissed off a few thou over the last couple of years.

I need to run this past my broker first though to see what he thinks:

If you had purchased $1,000 of shares in Delta Airlines one year ago, you would have $49.00 today!
